500ml coconut milk (you can make this* or buy a can)
1/2 cup cacao paste (grated or chopped finely)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla seeds and enough sweetener to your liking – honey, coconut sugar or maple syrup
3 cups of ice
1. Add all of the ingredients to your blender and blend until well combined.
2. Pour into glasses and serve.
* To make fresh coconut milk, take 1 hard old brown coconut cracked open, white flesh removed, add flesh to your vitamix along with 5 cups of water, blend on high for a minute, and then strain though a nut bag and use.
